WHEN TO BOOK

Spring & Autumn Go First

Over two-thirds of 2026 weddings fall in spring or autumn. October is the busiest month, followed by March and November — so Saturdays in those months are always the first to fill.

Our advice: book your cars as soon as your venue and ceremony times are confirmed. For a spring or autumn Saturday, aim for 9 to 12 months ahead.
YOUR TIMELINE

Where the Car Fits In

HOW MANY CARS

One Car or the Whole Party?

Cars per Australian wedding, 2026.

  • The bride and a parent to the ceremony, then the newlyweds together to photos and the reception.
  • Bridesmaids in their own car, so the whole party arrives together and on cue.
  • The groom and groomsmen if they're getting ready somewhere else.
  • Guests in a Sprinter between hotel, ceremony and reception — and nobody has to drive after the toasts.

BEFORE YOU BOOK ANYONE

8 Questions to Ask Your Car Provider

Late arrivals, cars that don't match the photos and surprise charges are the most common wedding car complaints. Ask these, whoever you book with.

  • Is the car in the photos the exact car we'll get?
  • What time will the chauffeur arrive before pickup?
  • What's included — ribbons, drinks, waiting time for photos?
  • How is extra time charged if we run late?
  • Who is our contact on the day, and how do we reach them?
  • What happens if a car has a problem on the day?
  • Will we get a written run sheet with every stop and time?
  • How much is the deposit, and when is the balance due?
